Meissen I is a part of my Heirloom Collection, an ongoing exploration of the deconstruction and reconstruction of the visual elements found in antique vases. This imagined still life is in direct response to a vase made in 1750-1800 by the Meissen Porcelain Factory. The vase is currently held in the collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
